Dr. Richards offers a medium-strength peel utilizing the gold standard in next-generation peel technology: Jessner’s solution combined with 35% trichloracetic acid (TCA). Performed only by Dr. Richards, this highly effective peel works by removing the outer, damaged skin cells to reveal fresh, new skin underneath. Perfect for individuals with mild-to-moderate photoaging, minor scarring, and actinic keratosis, this powerful peel offers dramatic results with just one treatment, but requires downtime of about 7-10 days, with 2-3 weeks required for full healing.
Fractionated CO2 Laser
Fractionated ablative CO2 laser resurfacing is the most powerful laser skin resurfacing treatment available today, and to ensure your safety and comfort, is performed only by Dr. Richards. This intensive laser-based therapy works by delivering very short, pulsed light energy deep into the layers of skin, precisely removing thin layers of damaged skin cells. At the same time, the heat energy stimulates the body’s production of new collagen strands. Ideal for the treatment of moderate to severe sun damage and wrinkles, this powerful treatment requires the use of a topical anesthetic, as well as 3-5 days of downtime, with full healing occurring over the course of a week or two. Many patients will see amazing rejuvenation after just one or two treatments.
Fraxel® Erbium Laser
A gentler form of laser resurfacing, this non-ablative (non-damaging) treatment is perfect for erasing mild to moderate signs of sun damage while simultaneously enhancing your skin’s fresh, healthy appearance. Although similar in concept to the more powerful CO2 laser treatment, this procedure works by utilizing the heat energy delivered by the laser to stimulate collagen production without damaging the existing skin. Performed by our certified laser technician, this treatment requires little to no downtime, but most patients will require multiple treatments to achieve optimal results.
Clear + Brilliant®
Clear + Brilliant® is the gentlest form of Fraxel® laser skin resurfacing.
